Do I have to order online?
Yes, I'm afraid you do. We only accept orders via the internet - in order to keep costs low.
Ordering
How do I make a purchase from ebook-library.co.uk?
In order to make a purchase from ebook-library you must have a PayPal account or a NoChex account. Click here to open a PayPal account. Then select the ebook or CD you require and press 'Buy Now' or 'Add to Basket'. You will then be taken to a shopping cart screen where you can either continue shopping or checkout and complete your purchase.
Will the ebook stop working after a period of time?
No, none of our ebooks have licences, so you can view and use the ebook as much as you like.
Delivery of CD Media
What are the charges for delivery?
If you would like your ebook delivered to you on a CD, please make that selection on the appropriate page, we usually charge an extra £1.00 on top of the email version in order to cover our postage costs. If you would like to have your order sent recorded delivery then an additional cost of £1.00 must be added to that total.
Can I track my order?
You will only be able to track your order online if you opted for recorded delivery as all of the UK orders can be tracked at www.royalmail.com - just enter your tracking code that will be emailed to you once your order has been posted.
What happens if I provide you with an incomplete delivery address?
If the order is returned to us due to you providing us with an incorrect delivery address and you still want the goods then an additional payment to cover resending of the goods will be required.
Email Orders
What happens if the email to me bounces back to ebook-library.co.uk?
If the email that has the attached ebook bounces then we will notify you in an ordinary email so you can empty out your inbox or provide us with an email address that can handle the size of email we will be sending you. If we cannot contact you at all, we will wait to hear from you.
What happens if I provide an incorrect email address?
If you provide an incorrect email address, we will check that your PayPal email address is correct, and try sending the email to this address if this address differs from the one you provided us with. If we cannot contact you at all, we will wait to hear from you.
Why is the ebook sent as a ZIP file?
The ebooks are always sent out as a ZIP file so that the size of the email you will be receiving will be smaller, this makes the time it takes us to send you the email and the time it takes for you to receive the email a lot less. The ZIP format is a standard compression format.
How do I unzip the ZIP file?
As the ZIP format is such a standard format there are many programs on the internet that will decompress the file for you, these include WinZip, PKZip and others. We will send information about how to UnZip the attached file in the email that is sent out with the attached ebook.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return an ebook?
None of the ebooks can be returned, we have no way of knowing if you have copied them or used them, so no refunds can be given once the email with the attached ebook or the CD has been sent.
Privacy & Security
Is it safe to use PayPalor NoChex for payment?
It is very safe to use PayPal or NoChex for payment, millions of people use them to transfer money every day. PayPal is also owned by eBay to give you greater piece of mind, for more information about PayPal and NoChex, please visit our Payment Options page.
What is your policy on Data Protection?
All credit/debit card information is not stored by us but handled by PayPal and NoChex. We only hold information about your email address if you subscribe to a newsletter. We also only hold your address details if you order anything on CD.
We will never sell or distribute your private information including email address to anyone.

eBooks
Will a .EXE ebook run on a Mac or Linux?
No a .exe ebook will only run on a Windows PC - either Win95, Win98, WinME, Win2000 or WinXP.
Can I view a PDF ebook on Windows, Mac or Linux?
Yes you should be able to view all PDF ebooks on these operating systems, you will need to have a PDF reader installed on your computer ino rder to read the PDF document though.
Can I resell the ebooks?
You are allowed to resell the ebooks if resale rights are given, this is on an individual ebook basis, look for this information either in the ebook or on our web pages next to the description of the ebook.
Do I need a special ebook reader program to read the ebooks?
If the ebook is a .EXE then you will not need any special programs to read it.
If you are looking at a PDF document you will need a a PDF Reader installed on your computer. There are PDF reader programs for Apple Mac, Linux and Windows available for FREE on the internet.
